Councils, community groups and businesses in Ku-ring-gai are being invited to apply for a share of $12.5 million in funding, to support tree planting projects and innovative greenery projects under the NSW Government’s, Greening our City grant program.

Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC, said “Ku-ring-gai is known for its renowned tree-lined streets as well as local and National parks, however, COVID-19 has truly shown us how much we treasure our quality green spaces in our local area”.

“Whether your project is big or small, I encourage all eligible community groups and Ku-ring-gai Council to get involved to help maintain and create more open green environments”.

Applications are now open until 11:59pm (AEST) Wednesday 19 August, 2020.
