Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC MP, is calling on the local community to nominate seniors who help to make Ku-ring-gai an inspiring place to live, in the 2021 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards.

“Our senior community have gone above and beyond as volunteers, carers and role models in a challenging year”, Mr Henskens said.

“If you know a senior or a local seniors organisation who helps make our community a better place, then I encourage you to submit a nomination before Friday 19 March, 2021”.

The NSW Seniors Festival, which runs from 13 – 24 April 2021, is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and enables our aging population to engage with each other, their community, ageing services and relevant businesses.

Winners of the Ku-ring-gai Local Achievement Awards will be announced during the NSW Seniors Festival.
