Inclusive play on the way for Ku-ring-gai

Kissing Point Village Green, South Turramurra

Kissing Point Village Green, South Turramurra will have a new inclusive public space for children and families in Ku-ring-gai to relax in and enjoy once the COVID-19 crisis passes, thanks to the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play grant.

Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC MP, said Ku-ring-gai Council was one of 30 successful applicants to benefit from the latest round of funding, where they’ll receive $50,000 to deliver an upgraded public space at the Kissing Point Village Green.

“While our playgrounds are closed at the moment to help contain the spread of COVID-19, it’ll be important that everyone will get the opportunity to use this inclusive space for the health and well-being of our community,” Mr Henskens said.

“Inclusive play spaces are a key community asset in Ku-ring-gai, designed to bring family and friends of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds together. I look forward to seeing the community enjoying the new space once works are complete”.
