Member for Ku-ring-gai, the Hon Alister Henskens SC MP is encouraging local organisations to apply for funding under the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants Program.

Made possible by the Clubgrants Category 3 Fund which re-invests profits from registered clubs’ gaming machines into community projects.

“Separate to the Community Building Partnership grants, this program offers another excellent opportunity to improve the quality of our local community infrastructure”.

Projects funded may include new or upgraded sports grounds, museums, theatres, halls and infrastructure that supports youth, disability, mental health and domestic violence services.

“This is about connecting our community, fostering participation in sport, recreation and arts, and boosting social inclusion”, Mr Henskens said.

Funding is available for projects in the following areas:

  • Arts & Culture: $50,000 to $200,000 available per project
  • Community Infrastructure: $10,000 to $200,000 available per project
  • Disaster Readiness: $10,000 to $200,000 available per project
  • Sport & Recreation: $50,000 to $300,000 available per project

Applications are now open and will close Monday 26 July, 2021.
