Wahroonga War Memorial will undergo conservation works after successfully being awarded a $5,000 grant under the NSW Government’s Community War Memorials Fund.

Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC MP, said “Ku-ring-gai has a proud history of military service”.

“This Memorial is a focus for local Wahroonga residents with many generations gathering each year for ANZAC Day, to honour the service and sacrifice of our Defence personnel and their families in all Wars”, Mr Henskens said.  

Existing war memorials in Ku-ring-gai will have another opportunity to apply for funding when Round 2 of applications open on 11 November 2020.
