Wahroonga Station

State Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC MP, has announced there has been planning approval for the Wahroonga Station accessibility upgrade.

“Works on the upgrade will start this year which include installation of a new lift to the platform and a major structural refurbishment of the Redleaf Avenue Bridge and walkway. I would like to thank members of the community who submitted feedback on the plans during the consultation period back in December 2019”, Mr Henskens said.

“This is part of the accessibility upgrades to Waitara, Pymble and Normanhurst stations, with construction of a lift at Warrawee station already underway. I am delighted that construction at Wahroonga station is set to commence in the coming months to support our seniors, young families and people with a disability”.
