Three Northbound Lanes Open to Traffic on Pacific Highway at Turramurra

Alister Henskens at Finlay Road, Turramurra

Three continuous northbound lanes on the Pacific Highway at Finlay Road Turramurra are now open to traffic.

State Member for Ku-ring-gai, Alister Henskens SC MP joined Federal Member for Bradfield and Minister for Communications, Urban Infrastructure, Cities and the Arts, the Hon Paul Fletcher MP to mark the occasion.

“The NSW and Australian governments jointly invested in this upgrade, to alleviate the pinch point between Turramurra and Warrawee for up to 60,000 motorists each day”, Mr Henskens said.

“Delivered on time and on budget, the completion of these works also delivers greater safety for Warrawee Public School, pedestrians and vehicles, especially during peak morning and afternoon periods”.

The Finlay Road intersection is the first of three pinch point upgrades to be completed with work continuing on the Pacific Highway upgrades near Fox Valley Road and Redleaf Avenue, Wahroonga.

When all three legs of the pinch point program is complete, there will be three continuous northbound lanes on the Pacific Highway from Turramurra to the M1 entry at Wahroonga.
